Our Lost Children

I had dedicated to all our native children, who lost their lives in Davis Inlet: Many children have taken their own lives due to the cultural shock that many of our native youth struggle with in todays society. Our elders have always stressed to my people, to take pride in who you are and to always carry it in your heart: so its sad to say that we all have lost touch with our culture, our elders and our way of life, A lot of young people cannot grasp who they really are, or where they belong, it is like they are struggling with their heritage, and their place in society, they are trying to belong in a dominating society, that is forced upon them, so they can belong.
